Benjamin Cruz (b. 1999) is a Seattle-based digital artist working across video, sound, and 3D animation. His practice draws on psychotherapy, spirituality, and speculative fantasy to generate emotionally charged, time-based works. Blending influences from nature, video games, social media, and myth-making traditions, Cruz constructs surreal vignettes that oscillate between trauma and transcendence, grief and humor. Through fractured editing, intense soundscapes, and sombre visuals, his work explores personal and ancestral memory as raw material for spiritual encounter.
